New hopes and dreams

Now that it is a new year, we have changed our hopes and dreams from the beginning of the year. We design New Years Party hats to display these hopes.
We made a mess doing this.
But we managed to clean up for some phonics practice.

Thanksgiving Luncheon

Here is our "Thanksgiving Tree". Each leaf contains something that we are thankful for. The students had no problem filling up so many leaves. If anything, we needed more leaves!

The star reached the end again! So, we had a piñata.

Instead of hitting the piñata, you had to pull a string. The correct string opens it up.

Inside the piñata were balloons, spinning tops, pencils...

Sticky notes and erasers.
